I just don't like January....

Everything seems so dismal after the holidays. The weather in Ohio is gloomy and cold......the hustle and bustle of another Christmas season is behind us....spring is a long way off. And this is the first winter in MANY MANY years that I wasn't working full time. That being said, I have been making mental notes of the things I want to accomplish before the flowers start blooming and the birds sing in the morning and spring calls us outside. One thing I am planning to do is clean and organize my studio. It's in a worse than usual state of disaray since I found myself rushing at the last minute (as usual) to finish some Christmas gifts for friends and family. Another thing I plan to do is to get this blog up and running so I can share it with my art buddies. I envy those who are so good at blogging and journaling.....I think this will be a bit of a chore for awhile. Well for now, I will stick to posting some of my art and getting some links put up

  1. I love your art so much, so glad you have a blog now to share it with the world, it ROCKS!!!!

Thanks for visting, I love my Betty Boop too, just wish I could have a new template, but BB ones are so hard to find x

  2. Hi Leslie...thank you for entering my blog draw for the OWOH celebration. I am so glad you came over as I have been looking at your blog and your artwork is beautifully created. I look forward to returning to see your blog and have joined your followers group. I would love to have you join me on my blog as well, I hope you do. These lists are such a great way of getting inspiration and ideas. Hugs, Gayle (in Canada).

  3. I am really interested in paper arts though I only engage in them through scrapbooking. I haven't been doing much of that lately. I really like the orange and pink piece. Thanks for stopping by my blog -

  4. Hi Leslie. I hope you know that I really like the bd tag you made me. I want to comment on these though because they are over the top gorgeous! I love how you've used the materials in these and how everything pulls together so nicely! Good luck in my OWOH drawing.

  5. Your gothic arches are gorgeous!

  6. I'm back for another visit to your blog. I can't resist reading your older posts and looking at all of your remarkable works of art. Oh how I do love your fabric collages here. My very favorite color combo is "shades" of teal, blue-greens.
